About the same size, though a little smaller than a PSP
Screen is easier to view then the Zune's (don't get me wrong I like my Zune) or the iPod Video
Has a 1.8" HDD, which means you can upgrade (there has been a 160gb HDD released)
The interface is simple & easy to use, although the buttons are a little stiff, which could be because it is rather new
Be careful NOT to lose the CD that comes with it as it is NOT available to download the software
Major plus is the exchangeable battery, these are very uncommon for mp3/pmp devices
The integrated speaker is lacking, in a area with noise it would be hard to hear, but hey it's the thought that counts, right?
Unlike the iPod the surface is not easy to leave finger prints, smudges, scratches on
Only downsides I have seen in my usage is:
Converting DVDs & videos can be a pain, but there are some easy ways around this...
The battery is a little loose, if you press on and push away from the lock the battery loses connection but does not come off, although this could just be this one, but with the rubber covering (which I will be obtaining soon along with the screen protection film) this problem will be non-existent
There is no stand included (same with the Zune or iPod) with the device so it has to lean against something to stand on a desk
All in all I'm pleased with it, it's an attractive device which would be great for commuting, I would not suggest using the device while running (nor would I suggest the Zune, iPod, or any other HDD based device)
On a side note: I have a 30gb Black Zune up for sale...
